HW1 Fitness & Martial Arts is Loughborough’s Premium Fitness and Martial Arts Centre and ran by MMA superstar 'Judo' Jimmy Wallhead. Myself and Jimmy became friends when I first started Elevator Studio following a redundancy in 2011. Jimmy was one of the first people to trust me to make him a website when he was in the prime of his career.

Jimmy was also a really close friend and training partner of Dan Hardy so when Full Reptile was in full flow we'd see each other often and the idea of expansion into gyms came up.

First came Hardy Wallhead MMA in Coalville Ran by Dan and Jimmy (Please click HERE to see Hardy Wallhead in other projects)

Then the natural progression was to move into Loughborough's City Centre and open HW1.

When the concept of HW1 was proposed with Brett & Andy I was involved in the majorty of design elements and creation of them, they included:
